Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Athleta Gymnastics. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General information

• Athleta Gymnastics Pty Ltd (ABN: 20 621 495 494) is an affiliated club of Gymnastics Victoria and Gymnastics Australia.

   

• By enrolling your child, you also agree to comply with Gymnastics Australia’s Member Protection, Child Safeguarding, Inclusion, and Integrity Policies.

   

2. Membership & enrolment

• Memberships automatically roll over each term unless cancelled.

   

• An annual registration and insurance fee (set by Gymnastics Victoria) is payable before participation and is non-refundable.

   

• Enrolment is only confirmed once payment details and required forms are completed.

   

3. Fees & billing

• Fees are paid fortnightly in advance by direct debit from a nominated bank account or credit card.

   

• A $10 dishonour fee applies to failed transactions.

   

• Cancellation requires two weeks’ written notice using the club’s cancellation form.

   

• Overdue accounts may result in suspension of participation and may be referred to a debt collection agency, with recovery costs payable by the account holder.

   

4. Refunds & credits

• Tuition fees are non-refundable.

   

• Credits may be issued for extended medical absence if supported by a medical certificate.

   

• Make-up classes: up to two per term may be booked for illness, school camps, or club-cancelled classes (advance notice required).

   

5. Risk & safety

• Gymnastics is a physical activity that carries inherent risks. While Athleta Gymnastics takes all reasonable care to provide a safe environment, injuries may occur.

   

• By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks on behalf of their child.

   

• Our duty of care includes ensuring all staff hold valid Working With Children Checks and follow child safety policies.

   

• Children must be collected on time and will only be released to authorised adults listed on the enrolment form.

   

• No nuts are permitted in the facility.

   

6. Behaviour & conduct

• Gymnasts, parents, coaches, and spectators must follow the Athleta Code of Conduct.

   

• Bullying, harassment, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.

   

• Parents are not permitted on the gym floor except during KinderGym, in the event of injury, or with management approval.

   

7. Photography & media

• By enrolling, you consent to the club taking and using photos/videos of classes and events for training and promotional purposes (unless you withdraw consent in writing).

   

• Parents may take photos/videos of their own child but must not publish images of other children without consent.

   

• No filming or photography is permitted in change rooms or bathrooms.

   

• CCTV operates on site for safety and security.

   

8. Website use

• This website provides general information only. Athleta Gymnastics makes no warranties as to the accuracy of content and accepts no liability for reliance placed upon it.

   

• Links to external sites are provided for convenience and do not indicate endorsement.

   

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
